I suggest the counseling center

I agree that from what you describe, something rather serious is happening to you.
You express that the consequences of leaving school would be severe for you. I have a feeling that the consequences of trying to continue at your current pace would also be negative, and would give you even more to hide if you should fail.
So there must be a middle ground!---a strategy that would allow you to get some rest and some help, but also continue in school if possible.
University counseling centers encounter this problem all the time. I've heard that half of the graduate students at Harvard are in counseling due to the high pressure of that program

Pursuing MA to become guidance counselor

Hey, looking for advice. I'm currently a senior at SUNY Albany and I'm planning on pursuing a masters in educational counseling. I'm considering schools such as St rose, Pace, Mercy, LIU (Brentwood) and University at Pittsburgh as all 5 of these schools don't require the GRE in order to get into school. Has anyone else on here gotten an MA in educational counseling? Any tips on what schools I should apply or how to get around the GRE in order to apply to a graduate school? My grades are pretty good as I have a 3.53 overall after getting by my freshman year with a 3.0 . Thank you in advan
