Some suggestions:

Hey there-
I'm in grad school right now and pursuing a doctorate. I'm not sure what year you are in undergrad, but you want to accrue the majority of your volunteer/research experience by November of your 4th year if you are applying to ph.d. or psy.d. programs, and by February if you are looking at masters programs. I remember feeling very overwhelmed when trying to decide what program and degree to pursue. Usually your school psych library will have some books you can peruse before deciding if you want to do clinical psychology or general counseling/therapy.
As far as ways to get experience, there are numerous hospitals/treatment centers that are always open to volunteers
