Among the best Master in Management Italy also prestigious positions

As is the case for several years, the Financial Times published its ranking of the international schools of management. A ranking that this year is characterized by the preponderant dominance of French institutions, which include three schools in the top five. With regard to Italy, there are two schools, ESCP Europe in a prestigious third place and the Bocconi University in 26th.

The ranking takes into account 65 schools, European but also China and India, which are classified according to 22 parameters, divided into three main areas: career development and the purchasing power of salaries of graduates, the multiculturalism of the school and the program; the quality of the teaching staff.

And as part of the international component of the MiM ESCP Europe is as high as first place overall. "The ranking of the Financial Times recognizes the international character of the model study of the Master. Excellence is attributed to the strong multicultural date from 90 different nationalities with over 700 students attending the Master in total 5 on the campus of the Business School, from the very structure of the school (only one school, present in 5 different European nations) and collaboration with 97 universities, academic partners in 44 different countries, "says Professor Daniel Ciravegna, President of ESCP Europe in Italy.

The two Italian institutions are also distinguished by the success of their programs, placement, with Bocconi in sixth and twelfth in the ESCP, while in terms of the international value of pay earned by graduates, the latter can boast a more than good result with $ 64, 453 on an annual basis.

"For years now, the MiM of ESCP Europe is constantly in the leading positions in this special list. A component that allows you to maintain this high level is given by the excellent job positions obtained from our Italian students, which in 2005 began their Master MiM in Turin, and who now occupy positions in prestigious Italian and international companies and institutions, "said the Professor Roberto Quaglia, Director General of ESCP Europe in Italy.

Law school? No letters of rec, low GPA?

I graduated from a private college in NY with a low GPA. I am studying for the LSAT and I think I can score in the 155-162 range. I received my undergrad degree about 5 years ago. I have 5 years experience with a well-respected Fortune 500 company in their marketing department.
I am researching law schools in the NY area and I am realizing that my GPA is going to hurt my chances of getting into certain schools. I was not very dedicated to my studies 5-9 years ago -- I have changed my tune and have done much maturing.
My low GPA is compounded by the fact that I do not keep in touch with any professors from undergrad, nor was I close with any of them

Not from CUNY, but...

I have lots of friends and colleagues who went there. There are a couple of aspects which factor into the (sometimes) bad rep that CUNY gets--
1. They're not selective in their applicants.
2. They have a low bar pass rate.
I suppose these two things may be related. However, CUNY's strength really does lie in its dedication to public interest work and its extensive clinics that provide real-world experience. There are lots of lawyers at Legal Aid in NY who went to CUNY.
In my own experience, I can tell you that public interest employers base their hiring decisions upon elements that aren't necessarily viewed as relevant or as important with big firm employers
